On May 5, 2018, I attended the bridal shower of one of my close friends. It was organized by her MOH and I was really excited about this because it was a different kind of bridal shower. Unlike the usual bachelorette parties wherein you go to the bar and have drinks (and strippers), this one was something that the bride will truly remember and learn something from.

Our bridal shower was...a cooking lesson! Yes! This was so unique and so useful to future wives (and for people like me who have minimal knowledge in cooking). For our lesson we were taught to make 3 dishes: Pan Roasted Chicken, Cheesy Risotto (my favorite!), and Banana Crepe.

It was a great experience as I got to bond and talk to the bridal party. And most of all, I came home learning 3 new dishes that I can cook anytime for my family. They also give you a copy of the recipes so you have a guide when you do want to cook the dishes at home. And of course, we also get to eat what we made and I must say, it was good! If you can't finish the dish, you can take these home too. I was so full from too much tasting, I took home the risotto and the crepe.

It was definitely memorable and one-of-a-kind. I can't wait to try and make the dishes at home.
